A generous, hand-knotted rug of exceptional quality, knotted around 1970–1990 in a renowned studio in a traditional carpet city in West Asia. This rug is striking for its unusual light color: not classic red or navy blue, but a rare ivory field with refined accents of blue-gray, moss green, ochre, and dusky rose. The symmetrical design is based on classic floral patterns, with a central medallion, floral tendrils, and cartouches.

The wool on a cotton base is of high quality, symmetrically knotted with approximately 490,000 to 520,000 knots per m². This results in a carpet with a fine texture, elegant sheen, and rich detailing. Despite its generous dimensions, the rug is supple and firm in structure, with a full pile. It is in excellent vintage condition – sturdy, clean, and free of visible damage. The carpet has also been professionally cleaned and is ready for immediate use.
