A soft, graceful carpet in the beloved Ziegler/Oushak style – hand-knotted around the turn of the century with fine wool and subtle shades that effortlessly bring calm to the interior.

With a size of 188 × 127 cm and a weight of 5.8 kg, this piece strikes just the right balance between refinement and sturdiness.

The design is classic: floral vines, arabesques, and palmettes that gracefully wind through the field, framed by a balanced border.

The base is sand-beige with a touch of old rose and soft earth tones, accented by subtle hues created by hand-spun wool and natural dyes — a typical feature of artisanal weaving from the late 20th century.

The texture is even, with symmetrical wool knots on a cotton warp and a knot density of about 100,000 knots per square meter.

The pile feels full and soft, with a slight sheen that beautifully refracts the light.

It is in very good vintage condition, with only a fine patina that enhances its character.
