This is a carpet that is present.

 In this nearly square, hand-knotted rug, everything comes together: rhythm, symbolism, and silence. The deep indigo and smoky brown-grey form a calm field in which geometric signs seem to move naturally. The central cross motif — with hook-shaped extensions — feels almost talismanic, as if meant to protect, mark, and preserve.

The wool is soft and lively, with a patina that only time can create. Not a smooth showroom piece, but a textile with traces of use and meaning. Probably once made as a saddle rug, cushion rug, or ceremonial object — today a powerful small statement in an interior that leaves room for character.
