Moroccan old-fashioned Berber carpet with soft pastel shades – 288 × 170 cm

This hand-knotted carpet was made in Morocco at the end of the 20th century and is a fine example of the free, intuitive Berber tradition. The design consists of expressive geometric shapes that playfully move across the surface, without strict symmetry. The base in faded pink is combined with accents in turquoise, mint, mustard, olive green, and cream, giving the rug a warm yet contemporary look.
