Hand-knotted vintage rug from Anatolia (Turkey), made in the second half of the 20th century (ca. 1960–1980).
The design features a central geometric medallion with a symmetrical layout, combined with a simple border with repeating motifs. The color scheme is dominated by an ochre yellow field with red, blue, and black accents.
The construction and pattern indicate a village production, intended for everyday use. The wool is relatively thick and soft, with a medium-high pile.
The rug shows some light signs of use, appropriate for its age.
