Hand-knotted Baluch rug from the border region of Afghanistan and Iran, made around 1950–1970.

The rug has an elongated shape with three central medallions and a geometrically structured field. The color scheme consists of deep red with brown and black tones, typical of Baluch weaving from this period. The wool texture and finishing indicate a nomadic or village production.

The pile shows visible wear, with thinner areas in the central field and slight fading of the colors. This matches the age and use and gives the rug an authentic vintage look. No restorations visible.

Size approximately 197 × 110 cm. Hand-knotted wool on wool.

Vintage condition with signs of use appropriate to the age.
